PUSRAWI Hospital

Hospital Pusrawi Kuala Lumpur was designed by Arkitek MAA to be one of the most comprehensive Islamic hospital that encompasses a wide range of secondary referral services. One of the key features of this hospital is its inherent flexibility, demonstrated by the thoughtful design that allows for future expandability. Originally accommodating 150 beds, the facility is capable of expanding to host up to 350 beds, thus ensuring it can grow in response to the needs of the community it serves. Additional shell space has been reserved on the top two floors, thoughtfully planning for future expansions that may be required.

The architectural design not only incorporates striking Islamic arches and intricate geometric patterns on its walls, but it also reflects a deep understanding of the principles of Islamic space planning. From the outset, the design prioritised the needs specific to Islamic healthcare practices, ensuring a harmonious environment conducive to both patients and staff alike.

Moreover, to enhance the experience for patients’ loved ones, a 103-room hotel block has been constructed adjacent to the hospital, seamlessly connected to the lobby. This thoughtful addition provides convenience and comfort for visitors, allowing them to be close to their family members undergoing treatment. Overall, Hospital Pusrawi is not just a healthcare facility; it embodies a vision of holistic care, community support, and architectural innovation, paving the way for a future healthcare and medical tourism.
