Datuk Ezumi Harzani was the President of Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) for four terms between 2017 to 2022, board member of LAM and Advisory Board member of Kuala Lumpur City Hall. He was appointed as a member of the Council of Architecture Accreditation and Education Malaysia from 2010-2019 and a member of the Focus Group in Dealing with Construction Permit under PEMUDAH since 2012.

He joined Arkitek MAA in 1997 and appointed as Director in 2006. He leads a team in the implementation of various portfolios including hospital, residential, office and hotel. He is also the recipient of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) President’s Medal in 2019. 

Lucas provides the leadership and guidance for Arkitek MAA's design work. He is committed to high-quality and principled designs that stays true to Clients' needs. Lucas has had his hand in various kinds of projects, but he specializes in the retail and hospitality industries; working on shopping centers, hotels, service apartments, resorts and country club projects.

Before joining Arkitek MAA in 1990, he worked in Australia for four years with an architectural firm that focused on hospitality projects. He became Design Director in 1996, and he currently serves as Managing Director of the Company.

Sam involves in design and project administration in Arkitek MAA. With seven years of practice as a landscape designer in China, he is passionate into the interaction between buildings and its surroundings in his design.

Sam began his career in 1997 and joined Arkitek MAA Sdn. Bhd. in 2006. He was appointed as the Director of M&A Architects & Consultants Intl. Co. Ltd (MAA’s joint venture company in China), and he began to run MAA’s branch office in Shanghai for 6 years.

Upon his return from Shanghai in 2013, he was appointed as a Director of Arkitek MAA Sdn Bhd in 2014.

Zulkefli has been involved with project design development, documentation, administration and construction for his 30 years’ experience in architecture. He has worked on aviation, healthcare and institutional projects and takes special interest in hospital projects. Among the projects he has completed are Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor,  Tuanku Mizan Hospital, Cyberjaya Hospital, IMU Hospital and UM Hospital upgrading works. 

His career began at Arkitek MAA as a project architect in 1994 and he became a Director in 2013. He is the Director of Arkitek MAA healthcare facilities design team. 

Von Kok Leong began his career in 1985 in New Zealand, and after having served alongside prominent architects while working in Australia and Singapore, on a multitude of large scale commercial and retail projects, he returned to Malaysia in 1997 and joined Arkitek MAA in 2000. He became a Director in 2004.

Von is dedicated to providing quality service, management, implementation and project delivery. He is passionate about sustainable design and he is a member of the team that developed the Green Building Index (GBI) rating system. He is also a Past President of Malaysian Green Building Confederation (MGBC) and the current Chair of the GBI Accreditation Panel.

Goh Hooi Suan graduated from the University of New South Wales, Sydney in 1990. Upon his graduation, he worked as an Architect in Singapore until 1997.

He joined Arkitek MAA in 2000 and served as a Director since 2004. He is primarily responsible for design and project administration. He is the Director in charge for Arkitek MAA's Building Information Modelling and Management (BIM) team. 

Among his completed projects are Bangsar Village, Bangsar Village 2, Menara UAC, Surian Tower, Puchong Financial Centre and Penang Royal Bintang Hotel.

Wan Zamharir has been primarily involved in construction, contract administration and project management in his 25 years of architectural experience. He has worked on healthcare, corporate office, residential and institutional buildings. He has also gained experience as check consultant from some of the project management jobs that he was involved with.

Wan began his career in 1997 and joined Arkitek MAA Sdn Bhd as a Project Architect in 2003. He was then promoted to Manager in 2011 and appointed as Director in 2023.

Erman joined the firm as a Design Architect in 2006. With a keen eye for design and a passion for innovation, he was promoted to Manager in 2011 and in 2023, he was appointed as a Director.  His portfolio is diverse, encompassing housing, university and mixed-use developments as well as more complex structures such as institutional and  commercial buildings.

His leadership in Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation has positioned the firm at the forefront of technological advancement in the architectural field. By embracing BIM, the firm has been able to enhance collaboration, increase efficiency, and improve the overall quality of our clients' projects.

Shariffudin is a key member of Arkitek MAA’s project management and implementation team. He joined Arkitek MAA as an Architect in 1990, and was appointed as an Associate in 1993. In 1996, he was promoted as Associate Director. He has since participated in the growth of Arkitek MAA as a premier Architectural practice.

His strengths and main involvement are in the Design Development, Technical and Implementation of projects. He has overseen many projects to successful completion including Housing, Institutional, Highrise Residentials and Offices as well as Commercial Developments.

Dato' Sri Ghazali is the Consultant in charge of Arkitek MAA's Planning Department. He was instrumental in setting up the department and helping it to become a leader in its field. His unwavering efforts have led to creative master planning solutions that are sensitive to the environment while still meeting Clients' needs. His work has garnered several Excellence-in-Planning Awards for the Company.

Dato' Sri Ghazali started his career as a Master Planning Consultant in Western Australia. Upon returning to Malaysia, he served as Deputy Director of the Urban Development Authority. He joined Arkitek MAA in 1984.

Josephine Tan joined Arkitek MAA  as a Design Architect in 2002. With her dedication and talent, it wasn't long before she was  promoted to the role of Manager in 2011 and as Associate Director in 2022.

Josephine involves in various projects, ranging from retail and commercial developments to residential buildings. Her vast experience extends to both high-rise and low-rise projects, demonstrating her versatility as an architect. When it comes to design development, Josephine is unrivalled. Her keen eye for detail and meticulous approach have earned her a reputation in the team. She thrives on the challenge of bringing concepts to life, seamlessly weaving together functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Hafiz Mursyidi began his career with Arkitek MAA in 2003 as Project Architect and he was tasked to handle the construction of Hospital Pusrawi interior design works.

One of Hafiz's early achievements was leading the design and construction of the Hospital Pusrawi interior design works. This challenging project required meticulous attention to detail, as the design had to cater to the complex needs of a medical facility while still creating a welcoming and soothing environment for patients and staff.

Among his other involvements, includes MyTown Shopping complex, DoubleTree Hotel Putrajaya, Ministry of Transport Building, and Parcel F Government Office Complex. He was promoted as Manager in 2022 and now holding a position as an Associate.

CK Chew started her career in Architecture in 2006 and joined Arkitek MAA as Project Architect in 2014. She brought to the team her unique blend of creativity and technical expertise. With a meticulous approach and an eye for detail, CK played a crucial role in design development and implementation of many projects. From healthcare facilities to residential, CK's architectural prowess knew no bounds.

She revelled in the challenge of creating spaces that not only captured the essence of her clients' vision but also elevated their experiences to new heights. In 2022, she was promoted as a Manager and embraced this new responsibility guiding and mentoring a team of architects to reach new heights of creativity and excellence. Chew was appointed as Associate in 2025.

Azri Aziz commenced his architectural career in 2007, accruing a diverse portfolio spanning large-scale office developments, institutional buildings, and residential projects. ​A notable highlight in Azri's career is his involvement with the Parcel F Government Office Complex in Putrajaya, where he participated from the initial design phase through to the completion of the building. This project underscored his capability in handling large-scale developments and honing his project management skills.

Azri joined Arkitek MAA in 2024 and his role at Arkitek MAA evolved quickly. He was promoted to Manager few months later and subsequently as an Associate in 2025, a position where he leverages his extensive project experience and expertise in construction detailing to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

Farkhan started his career in 2017 after completing a Master's degree in Architecture from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His professional journey has been marked by involvement in a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. His role often involves injecting creativity into his team's efforts and ensuring that innovative design principles are applied effectively.

In 2024, he was promoted to a leadership position, overseeing the design team. This role allows him to exert a greater influence on project direction, fostering a focus on designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. His work emphasizes the creation of spaces that not only inspire but also respond sensitively to the needs and characteristics of their communities and environments.

Ahmad Syahmi, who embarked on his architecture career in 2020, holds a Masters in Architecture from Universiti Teknologi Mara. Throughout his architecture journey, his roles have spanned being a design architect and a BIM (Building Information Modeling) architect, participating in diverse projects including residential, mixed-use developments, and sport facilities.

In 2024, Syahmi joined Arkitek MAA, where he was quickly recognised for his leadership skills and promoted to Architecture Manager. In this role, he excels in creating innovative architectural designs and effectively leads the BIM team. Syahmi is committed to merging functionality with visual appeal in his designs, ensuring his projects are aesthetically pleasing and pragmatically viable. His contributions are marked by a dedication to excellence and innovation in the field of architecture.
